Important Tax Information
Balmitra Ganeshotsav Mandal (Regd.) is not covered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Accordingly, donations made to the Mandal are not eligible for deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Donors are requested to retain the donation acknowledgement/transaction record for their personal records.
Donation Terms & Conditions

Transaction Confirmation
Upon completion of an online donation transaction, an automated SMS and/or email may be sent to the mobile number and email address provided by the donor. Donors are advised to check their Spam, Junk or Promotions folders if the communication is not visible in their primary inbox. A separate transaction notification may also be issued by the donor’s bank or payment service provider. -
Confirmation of Donation
An online donation shall be treated as successfully received by the Mandal only after confirmation of the payment is received through the relevant bank or payment gateway. A transaction marked as successful by the donor’s bank or payment interface may remain subject to final payment confirmation. -
Acknowledgement / Receipt
Where applicable, an electronic acknowledgement or donation receipt will be sent to the registered email address provided during the donation process. Donors are requested to verify their email inbox, including Spam/Junk folders, and retain the acknowledgement for their records. -
Non-Refundable Contributions
Donations made to the Mandal are voluntary contributions and, once successfully received, are non-refundable, except where a refund is required under applicable law or arises due to a failed, duplicate or erroneously processed payment. -
Use of Donor Information
Information voluntarily provided by donors, including contact details, may be used by the Mandal for purposes connected with the administration of donations, issuing acknowledgements, communicating with devotees, and sharing information relating to the Mandal’s religious, cultural and community activities, subject to applicable law. -
Payment Gateway / Banking Issues
In the event of a payment failure, delayed confirmation, duplicate debit or any other transaction-related issue, donors should first verify the transaction status with their bank or payment service provider. The Mandal may assist with transaction-related queries to the extent reasonably possible. -
Accuracy of Information
Donors are responsible for providing accurate and complete information while making an online donation. The Mandal shall not be responsible for communication failures arising from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the donor. -
Changes to Donation Facilities
The Mandal reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any donation facility, payment method or related service where necessary, including for administrative, technical, security or regulatory reasons. -
Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a donation, the donor acknowledges that the contribution is voluntary and agrees to the applicable donation terms and conditions stated on this page.
